Two Wires required for Diagnostic / Cartridge Port access.
This is a custom build to order.
You can buy the unpopulated PCB and build it yourself or purchase it assembled and tested.
That is entirely up to you. The skill level is moderate.
Diagnostic rom is a 44 pin PLCC, we offer V1.27B V1.26 and V1.25 selectable through jumpers $15.00

This was designed to easily test Different OS builds without damaging the Falcon’s OS Socket, It will also enable you to choose either the PLCC or 40pin DIP. Since DIP eproms are inexpensive it may be a good choice for experimenters.
This board also includes a Diagnostic Rom socket as well as the ability to add a cartridge port connector Mirroring the one found on your Falcon.
All pins on the Falcon’s expansion connector are mirrored and are made available when using for diagnostic purposes, or adding yet another card.
We will sell the PCB only with a BOM, it is a 4 Layer PCB. Please be sure you can handle Surface mount technology, We will not offer support (troubleshooting) if it doesn’t work because you assembled it wrong.

When ordering a complete board you will receive a 3 pin wire harness needed for the full installation, along with enough jumpers to see it in action.
