Recovering the Past
We’re sorry for the long delay, we’re happy to announce our lead engineer is back to work after a prolonged medical event. In the coming weeks we’re going to resume our work on the Atari Falcon project.
We currently have almost 20 pages of schematics all of which need to be verified before we do our first PCB layout. We originally hoped to have had a prototype by July, but due to an illness we are behind schedule. During this down time, we have secured most of the necessary components to produce a new computer that will be 100% Atari Falcon compatible.
We have had many individuals ask us what type of enclosure we intend to use for this new machine, some have suggested we follow the design of the micro box. Although this is a possibility, our final design will depend upon the needed space for the additional hardware we intend to implement.
Some of our design ideas include a back plane that allows for expansion cards to be used, tested and implemented. Since this community likes to experiment, we may make all peripherals separate plugin cards, this will give the ability to upgrade and enhance our design easily.
The entire team that Wizztronics is dedicated to getting this project done. We will release information as to the progress when it becomes available, we thank you for your patience.

We have been recovering data from both 5 1/4 and 3 1/2 Floppies we recieved from Atari Corp 25 years ago.
We will be posting files as we recover them for everyone (who has an interest) can add them to thier collections.

Your feedback is important, We will respond to all emails within 48 hours.
We are once again working on a new TOS based computer. If time allows We will post a timeline with our progress. Although we do not intend to reinvent the wheel, we wish to make it roll just a little better.
We took a break from recovering the old info from Atari’s Backups to work on our new Falcon design.
We are on Page 18 of new schematics for a new Improved Falcon, We have included all known corrections and several that we found on Atari’s original schematics. We expect that the Stock side of the 030 will be running significantly faster full 32bit.
We are anticipating first prototypes by July. We are currently adding realtek ethernet (looks like 100MB may be the best we can do) 2 options for the KB and Mouse and standard VGA-HDMI output. The first run will have a ton of extras on the board, for testing and enhancements that we won’t know if they work until built. Fingers crossed. So Far a little more effort than we anticipated. A Work In Progress.
